It is with a heavy heart that I must share the sad news that Cake Lair will be shutting down at the end of the year. Del says that due to low traffic and constant attacks, the site is simply not worth keeping up. It costs quite a bit of money to run Cake Lair, and del has been financing the site on her own for quite some time without ever asking members to contribute. However, there's simply not enough people visiting anymore so it does not justify her spending her hard earned money every month to run an empty site. Also, the site has been under constant attack by people who she believes have beef with manit, even though he no longer has anything to do with the site anymore. Personally, I understand why she's doing but I can't deny feeling sadness. The site has brought me many enjoyable moments, as well as several new friends. I shall miss it dearly  |

Oh wow. Though I never really went on it much, it's sucky to know I won't be able to visit it anymore.
I remember years ago I would be a lone-wolf on FP and didn't like anyone I didn't know in RL on my PSN list until I heard about CL from TM. I joined and it was whatever at first but then I joined the chat room and met some awesome people.
At least I still got you guys.

aw. i didnt like cakelair that much. still most clans sites are still active. tho fp slowly dying when ps4 comes out

It's official, folks. Cakelair is shutdown for good. There was a problem with the site's database, and rather than fix it, manitcor went ahead and deleted all the records. Cakelair is no more.  |

Del would like to know if anyone would be interested in a smaller, more personal FP forum. She would be willing to set something up so long as there is a demand for it.

At the time, CL was down and del herself said that the site was done. The hosting company was able to bring the site back up however it will be shutting down at the end of the year.

Cakelair was getting spammed hard by Chinese spammers. I believe she blocked China only. Are you having trouble getting in?

To be honest, you ain't missing much. There's hardly anybody there anymore. Most of the activity is from spammers, and there have been a couple of outages  I can ask del to unblock your IP address if you like. |

I do want to play FP will all of you again...Kitty, Vee, JR, Mel, and Nicole....i forgot Nicole's username. Anyway's, TELL ME SOMETHING. lol 
I hope you guys still had fun. Im not in a good place right now. My sister thinks im bi polar and she is convincing me im right. And ugh i hate it. I don't think i am...im just stressed at stupid things.
