Ehhh... From the reveal.. Xbox One is pretty much saying the next big thing with gaming is a voice remote control for your television.... with background apps lmao. Come onnnn how lazy can you be to just use the remote! Plus, I think I read somewhere (not sure if it is true but I believe it may be) that for the whole television thing, it's going to launch in the US first and will roll out eventually. That would mean the whole TV thing for the rest of us - useless.
I was thinking of getting it close to when it comes out but now, I'm thinking maybe wait a couple of months... to see what people say.

I didn't even think about the international market (how American of me ) but yes, that's true. Unless every major cable company in the world jumps on the bandwagon, the whole tv thing is for naught. Being that MS's presentation was only 1 hour long as opposed to Sony's 2 hour event, they may have left all of the gaming stuff for E3. But you only get 1 chance at first impressions and right now the gaming community ain't pleased. Then there's the whole used game issue and how they plan to handle it, plus the sorta-always-on connection requirement... I dunno, they gonna have to pull a fat rabbit out of a hat come June

XBONE seems to me like the place for Halo, Gears of War and other FPSers. Besides that, not sure why someone would buy it. The only reasons I bought a 360 were Mass Effect 1 (this was before the ME trilogy), Alan Wake and Dance Central 1-3.
PS4 on the other hand has got lots of exclusive IPs that appeal to me like The Last of Us, Beyond, Uncharted, Infamous, Fat Princess, Knack, the next game by Team ICO, and more that I can't remember...God of War appeals to a lot of people (not me too over the top violent), Ratchet & Clank (seems ok, but not better than as Mario), and the scale of the next Killzone looks very impressive on PS4.
