I had PS plus for the first three months..
Then it automatically renewed another three months..(which is sucked)..
I feel like PS plus isn't that worthy...
There isn't much good quality free DLC game to play...
What do you think?
How do you use PS plus?
What's your favorite DLC from PS plus?
Start with me, I can't really play games without good image quality...
And I have a special crush on those games with adorable cartoon style..
My fav DLC from PS plus now is Trine 2...
I tried to play Simpson, axe zone ect before..it ends up I can't stand with the crappy image then I give up...

I don't have plus PS account but my boyfriend does. He seems to highly enjoy the games he gets, cheaper cost to certain items (avatars, themes, heavily discounted games ...etc).
He actually got really lucky in the price lately because a Target ad said they had PlayStation Plus 1 year cards for 14.99. The price was actually for a 3 month Plus account. They didn't have a correction that was visible in the store and he used that against them. He went to Best Buy and showed the ad and got 2 years of Playstation Plus for $30. He is a bit of a bargain hunter. 
I want to get it because there are avatars that I want and they are plus exclusives. I haven't played a game from plus in a while but I want to try Trine 2.

I tend to play mostly PSN games so it's good for me. They're offering Trine 2 for PS+ members. I think that's a pretty good deal. But I would wait until you're back home before getting it. I don't know if you will have the same selection in China.

I don't know if you will have the same selection in China. There isn'tS Store in China...because it doesn't accomplish a good online payment system... So..if my PS+ expired, does it mean I can't play the game I downloaded from PS+ before? |

Yes. Certain titles are free as long as you are a PS+ member.

I think it can be if they are giving you a game worth 14.99 that you really want to play for free and you get to complete it during your membership time and get free avatars for 3 months, which only cost you 5 dollars extra...but overall I dont think it is worth it if there are no deals like what i mentioned.
I prefer to own my games unconditionally and be able to resell them later. I dont trust DRM because technology fails and there is no guarantee that their servers will be running indefinitely. Also its even better i.e. foolproof to own the actual disc.

For PSN US, maybe yes. But for PSN Asia, don't go for plus. Very few content and not worth it.

i was thinking about getting it but i don't think it is worth it. I agree with TM and would rather own my games than download them. plus they usually have specials on games no one wants anyways.

I've always had PS+, always enjoyed it. I've stopped recently because I've been too busy to even play anything. My opinion, the good stuff only comes out like, 1 or 2 times a month. Now, I barely have any memory left on my PS3 for all the PS+ downloads I've done and without PS+ now, I can't even play it.....  |
